Cat!Zuko, does not want fangirl snuggle rape KTHX...

...I shall name him Zukat in the spirit of retarded Avatard naming schemes. :3

So I've seen some uh... Really unique renditions of this idea and I thought it was about time I designed something. I always love how people like to over complicate designs of human!animals until they looks like the fluffy equivalent of a drag queen.

...

...Anyways... Zuko is a princely purebred short-haired Siamese cat of course and is a rather lanky specimen. He reminds me a lot of Dongwa from Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat (which is one of my favourite children's shows).

I imagine that the white patch under his eye is hair that's turned white from the shock of the burn. I have no explanation for his yellow eyes though...

The only accessory I gave him was his royal headdress... Since he really doesn't have any consistent article of clothing in the series and I really like that headdress.

Zuko really needs to wear it, I might actually stop mocking him then. :3

Sketched with a 0.5 mechanical pencil, coloured in Adobe Photoshop CS. Reference used.

Thanks. I may do more and maybe some for Korra if I get time; but I did do ones for Katara, Ty Lee and Azula (they're kicking around in my gallery somewhere if you want to find them).

I mean, the drawings nice and all. But isn't it also very heavily referenced from [link] ? I just find it odd how you take extra time to make sure nobody will steal this by adding intense amounts of copyrights and notes about it, yet make no reference to the reference photo.

If memory serves I found the original image on another website, since if it had a clear source I'd cite it (all of my newer deviations, if you'll notice, clearly cite any reference or stock used). I usually cite it even if it isn't the original source, so the website I had found the image on had probably disappeared by the time I completed this. The reference image is now cited.
